Job Summary
Austin Grind Coffee House wants you if you are friendly and outgoing . We are currently hiring for all shifts. Open availability desired.
- You are friendly and outgoing
- You are honest
- You like to be the BEST at whatever you do No experience necessary, we will train you on the art of espresso. We'll need you at least 20 hrs/week. Must have reliable transportation. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers into the coffee shop with a smile
- Take food and beverage orders
- Explain the menu items to customers
- Create a variety of espresso-based drinks, from basic to more complex
- Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency
- Bus tables and wipe down surfaces
- Maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications :
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines
- ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain shortly after hiring
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
