Title Examiner

Virtual Vocations Inc

To ensure the accuracy and completeness of property titles, the full-time Virginia Senior Title Examiner will examine public records and legal documents, identify defects or encumbrances, and provide detailed reports while working both onsite in Manassas and remotely. Key responsibilities: Conduct thorough examinations of property titles and identify any defects, restrictions, or encumbrances Write preliminary reports and coverage guarantees in accordance with title insurance practices and state guidelines Provide coaching and direction to Title Examiner I and II positions as needed Required qualifications: Minimum 3-4 years of experience in title examination Comprehensive knowledge of reading legal descriptions for real property Proficiency in conducting searches of public records and legal documents Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to review complex legal documents and identify discrepancies
