Outpatient Pharmacy Insurance/Bookkeeper -PRN/Contingent

Pharmacy Technician

PRN/Contingent Position - Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm, weekends only as needed

Job Summary Works as part of a team to complete accurate insurance billing and bookkeeping functions vital to the management of the MercyOne North Iowa Outpatient Pharmacies.

Position Qualifications

• Education [formal]:

  • 1-A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • 2-National Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred
  • 3-Accounting, finance, or business degree/education preferred

• Experience:

  • 1. Retail or Long Term Care Pharmacy Technician experience is preferred
  • 2. Retail or Long Term Care billing experience is preferred
  • 3. Background in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping is preferred

• Special Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proficient in mathematical and bookkeeping skills
  • Must be detail oriented
