Job Position: Claims Adjuster
Location: Georgetown, TX 78633 Pay Rate: starting at $26.00/hr Our client provides medical professional liability and workers' compensation insurance to healthcare facilities.The Claims Adjuster is responsible for managing assigned claims from initial intake through final resolution, including coverage review, investigation, reserve management, payments, settlement negotiations, and claim closure. Ensure timely and accurate internal, external, and regulatory reporting. This position's primary focus is commercial auto claims, with the ability to also handle general liability, medical professional liability, and workers' compensation claims as assigned. Qualifications
-High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
-Minimum 2 years of claims handling experience
-Active Texas adjuster's license; ability to obtain licenses in Oklahoma and Arkansas
-Valid driver's license and insurance, as required for business travel
-Strong organizational, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
-Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new technology and claims systems quickly
-Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and effective in a collaborative team environment
