Solution Architect / Senior Solution Architect Salesforce Professional Services is hiring Solution Architects for the Missionforce team. As a Solution Architect, you will provide steady architectural leadership across large and complex engagements and partner with executive and delivery stakeholders to co‑create and execute solution visions for our most complex customers in the Defense & National Security space. Key Responsibilities Serve as a trusted advisor to the client Identify and lead internal strategic initiatives to grow the consulting practice Guide customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying emerging technologies Work collaboratively and communicate complex concepts across various levels of a client organization Proactively manage risk areas and commit to seeing issues through to resolution Manage customer expectations; negotiate solutions to complex problems with both the customer and third‑party partners Review and correct project/program direction to keep programs on track and solutions extendable and maintainable Drive a program vision while advising and articulating program/project strategies to enable technologies including the Salesforce platform Minimum Requirements 8+ years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture or consulting experience on the Salesforce Platform throughout the entire life cycle with repeated and demonstrable success Expert in Salesforce configuration and architectural strategy, translating current‑state complexity into clear target‑state designs, closing capability gaps, and delivering solutions that enable achievement of critical business and mission outcomes Experience leading discovery sessions, defining business requirements, writing user stories and providing detailed system and functional designs Experience documenting business processes and wire‑framing system designs using process flow diagram tools, UML, sequence diagrams, etc., and making recommendations for future‑state improved processes and system designs Strong presentation skills; able to effectively present a point of view and clearly articulate the rationale to a variety of stakeholders Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; able to develop materials appropriate for the audience A great listener with the ability to connect with people in diverse roles Resourceful and innovative thinker who can solve problems Preferred Requirements Must be Metro DC located Active Secret level security clearance required Multiple Salesforce Core Architecture certifications Degree or equivalent relevant experience; experience will be evaluated based on core competencies for the role (e.g., extracurricular leadership, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience) Experience in public sector digital transformation initiatives Hands‑on experience with Public Sector Solutions (“Agentforce Public Sector”) Hands‑on experience with Omni Studio Ability to convey and convince customers of best practices at various levels within a large organization Application design and development background Travel may be required and varies depending on client requirements Security and Citizenship Requirements Qualification for this job is contingent upon acceptable results from a background investigation and your obtaining and maintaining the specific level of U.S. Government security clearance required for this role. U.S. citizenship (U.S. born or naturalized) required.
