How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Maintain a pristine sterile field by following strict aseptic techniques in accordance with AORN and ASPAN standards.
• Use your deep knowledge of pathophysiology and surgical procedures to anticipate case-specific needs before they arise.
• Closely evaluate patient responses to treatments and clinical interventions, ensuring safety at every stage of the perioperative process.
• Expertly manage patient pain levels through specialized assessment and the administration of ordered interventions.
• Ensure all actions meet national benchmarks for perioperative and perianesthesia nursing care.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Required Credential(s):

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Department of Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• One or more of the following:
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • ADVLIFSUP certification accepted in lieu of BLS

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required. ASN or BSN preferred.

Work Experience:

• Previous PACU experience preferred.
• Critical Care experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• 1 year of experience in PACU, ED, or ICU
