Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year A bit about us: AV-rated law firm that focuses primarily on insurance subrogation law—recovering money for insurance companies after they have paid claims. The firm represents insurance companies, self-insured businesses, and risk pools in legal actions to recover losses caused by another party (for example, after a fire, car accident, or product defect). Responsibilities Identifying potential theories of liability Drafting related correspondence and/or litigation documents/pleadings/motions Handling court conferences, depositions, and trials Providing client reporting and recovery analysis Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and courts Qualifications 7+ years of experience as a practicing attorney Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Ohio Indiana or Kentucky license or ability to waive into Indiana or Kentucky also highly preferred Understanding of recoverable damages and current law Experience with insurance coverage is helpful Equal Opportunity / Privacy Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
