Robotic Assembly TechnicianThe Robotic Assembly Technician plays a key role in maintaining production quality by troubleshooting and repairing rejected bases from the line. Duties include diagnosing faults in components (e.g., liners, DFIs, and cards), performing component-level repairs or replacements, and ensuring all units meet quality standards before re-entering production. After completing daily repair targets, the technician supports related operations such as the production lines.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Receives and evaluates parts that do not meet production quality standardsTroubleshoots rejected bases (e.g., cards, liners, DFIs) to identify root causes and implement effective solutionsRepairs and reworks components to ensure all products meet or exceed quality and performance standardsPerforms wiring and connector repairs on printed circuit boards (PCBs)Diagnoses and troubleshoots unit issues, including assessment of components and wiringAccurately documents all repairs and findings in Whisker OpsCollaborates with production, quality, and engineering teams to communicate issues and drive corrective actionsDemonstrates flexibility by adapting to changing production priorities and workflowsRotates between multiple production lines (I.e. assembly work) and product types as neededSupports assembly line operations where and when requiredManages material handling tasks, including breaking down Gaylords and moving products as necessaryMaintains proper inventory levels of supplies in the Assembly Tech areaPerforms additional duties and responsibilities as assignedRequirements:High school diploma or GED requiredExperience in assembling and disassembling multiple Litter-Robot models (including LR4, LR5, LR5 Pro, LRe, tc.).Consistently maintain strong attendance and reliabilityComfortable working in various temperature conditionsAbility to follow directions and safely operate hand and power toolsMechanical aptitude and good manual dexterityPositive attitude with a strong work ethicOrganized, detail-oriented, and efficient in completing tasksAble to work effectively in a fast-paced assembly environmentWillingness to learn and contribute across different areas of the companyMaintains confidentiality of proprietary and sensitive informationAbility to remain professional in a high-interaction, fast-paced settingDemonstrates strong initiative, self-motivation, and the ability to motivate othersProven ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with team members and colleaguesComfortable working in an office environment with pets (cats and dogs)Physical Demands and Work Environment:The physical demands outlined below represent those that a Team Member must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
