About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) with a focus on Sustainability. The CIO will be responsible for driving sustainability initiatives across the organization, with a particular emphasis on the credit and insurance business. This role involves leading efforts in sustainability data, analysis, presentation, and reporting, as well as monitoring sustainability risks across portfolios. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Value Creation and Sustainability Team, interfacing with senior members and contributing to the integration of sustainability-related risk evaluation in the investment process. Key responsibilities include providing sustainability research support, creating and maintaining sustainability presentation materials, and engaging with portfolio companies on material sustainability topics. Applicants for the CIO, Sustainability role at the company should have a minimum of 2 years' work experience in banking, research, consulting, finance, or sustainability, with a preference for those with credit experience. A strong interest in the sustainability space, relevant work experience, and/or an academic degree in a related field is highly valued. The ideal candidate will possess superior communication, analytical, and quantitative skills, be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have a robust work ethic. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel is required, as is the ability to manage projects independently and work effectively in a team environment. The role demands a professional with a positive attitude, a desire to collaborate, and a proven track record of excellence in their previous endeavors.
