Operations Manager

Summary: As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our Bensenville, IL location to ensure efficiency and profitability. This position is responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies, policies, and procedures to achieve organizational goals. The Operations Manager will also be responsible for optimizing processes and leading teams to deliver high-quality products or services. Additionally, this position will collaborate with other departments, such as finance, human resources, and sales, to streamline operations and drive business growth. Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills are crucial for this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reinforcing the organization’s core values while creating opportunities for growth and development, nurturing strong, cohesive teams that align with the company’s mission.
• Cultivating a transparent and open communication environment, consistently recognizing and rewarding team contributions, and fostering a positive company culture that energizes employee commitment and performance.
• Overseeing processes and teams by establishing clear expectations, maintaining accountability, and driving individuals to achieve operational excellence consistently.
• Innovate and standardize processes for diagnosing, repairing, and preparing used games, establishing quality and turnaround time benchmarks.
• Develop, disseminate, enforce, and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring successful implementation for consistent execution.
• Drive effective communication strategies to clearly articulate goals, objectives, and changes, ensuring organizational alignment and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Guide the team through transitions using practical change management techniques, fostering a culture of adaptability, innovation, and high performance.
• Oversee talent management, from recruitment to development, to build a skilled, motivated team aligned with operational goals.
• Assist in designing and implementing comprehensive training programs that are engaging, accessible, and customized to accommodate diverse learning styles, empowering team members to thrive and grow professionally.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in operations management and SOP development.
• Strong leadership skills, capable of handling recruitment, training, and performance appraisals, with a focus on setting and managing expectations for staff.
• Demonstrated ability to foster a team environment, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively across all levels of management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Word & Excel.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a strong customer service focus in an onsite setting.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for business needs.
• Demonstrated agility and resilience in a fast-paced work environment, with a clear focus on accountability and results.
