Field Reimbursement Manager - Oral Migraine

Field-based reimbursement manager for AbbVie's neuroscience portfolio in Pittsburgh, PA. Provides in-office support to healthcare providers on patient access, insurance coverage, and reimbursement for oral migraine treatments and related products.

Responsibilities

• Educate healthcare providers on patient support programs and reimbursement tools available from AbbVie
• Address payer policy trends, coding changes, and claims submission guidance at national and regional levels
• Liaise with AbbVie access and reimbursement support teams to provide prescription status and program eligibility updates
• Establish and maintain relationships with providers in assigned territory
• Report payer trends and coverage barriers to internal patient services and account management teams

Requirements

• 3+ years neuroscience experience with managed care, payer account management, or access/reimbursement background
• Technical expertise in payer policies, coding, billing, and specialty medicine coverage requirements
• Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare Parts A, B, C, D and associated reimbursement dynamics
• Understanding of specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distributors, and drug acquisition in neuroscience
• Strong territory and account management capabilities with excellent communication skills
• Bachelor's degree and valid driver's license
• Eligible to obtain healthcare industry representative (HCIR) credentials and pass associated background checks
