Our client, a leading innovator in the automotive and electric vehicle industry, is seeking a dedicated Technical Trainer to join their team. As a Technical Trainer, you will be part of the Base Operations supporting diverse teams across various locations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, adaptability, and a passion for technical education, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:  Technical Trainer

Location:  San Francisco, CA

Pay Range: $53/h + Benefits

What's the Job?

  • Research, analyze, and identify specific training needs to support team objectives
  • Select appropriate delivery methodology, develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and student handouts
  • Develop and administer ongoing training programs covering onboarding, safety, high voltage interaction, and electric vehicle systems
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to define training requirements and ensure content consistency
  • Ensure all training sessions comply with safety standards, local regulations, and environmental guidelines, especially regarding high-voltage systems and batteries

What's Needed?

  • Preferred ASE Certifications; AC609 Certification is a plus
  • 2-5 years of experience in automotive or autonomous vehicle industries
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical fundamental systems, schematics, and service practices
  • Extensive knowledge of electric vehicle systems, including batteries, inverters, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts clearly
