Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-to-senior level corporate associate for its Seattle, WA office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in corporate law, focusing on startups, venture capital, and emerging companies. Duties Represent startups and emerging companies in corporate matters. Advise on venture capital transactions and related legal issues. Engage in mergers and acquisitions and capital markets activities. Collaborate with technology and life sciences companies. Requirements Minimum of three years of experience in a sophisticated corporate law practice. Experience with technology and/or life sciences companies required. M&A and/or capital markets experience preferred. Superior academic credentials. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Barred in the jurisdiction or eligible to sit/waive into the next bar exam. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and negotiation skills.
