Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Building Kid Steps, LLC – Victoria, Texas

Building Kid Steps is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing outpatient therapy team. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, energetic, and enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients and families.

Our clinic serves both pediatric and adult patients , providing individualized therapy in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Our physical therapy caseload includes children with developmental delays, cerebral palsy, torticollis, gait and mobility needs, strength and balance deficits, and other neurological and orthopedic conditions, as well as adults requiring neurological rehabilitation.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Carry out established plans of care and therapeutic interventions
• Address strength, balance, coordination, mobility, gait, range of motion, and functional movement
• Monitor patient response and progress during treatment
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
• Communicate effectively with supervising PTs, patients, families, and other members of the therapy team
• Participate as an active member of our interdisciplinary clinic

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current or eligible Texas PTA license
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dependable, professional, and patient-centered
• Pediatric and/or neurological rehabilitation experience is a plus, but we are willing to support the right candidate

Schedule:
Our primary clinic schedule is Monday–Thursday , allowing for a consistent four-day workweek. Friday hours may be available as needed, but our clinic has traditionally maintained limited Friday scheduling.

Job is PRN to Full Time Current hours are Monday to Thrusday 7 AM to 5 PM and some Fridays.
