Weekend coverage required (6 weekends per contract; for night shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). One pre-approved time off period available. Highlights: \n \n 13-week travel assignment in a Labor and Delivery/LDRP unit with 14-15 bed capacity \n Work with a diverse patient population including neonates and adults in a facility performing 100-200 births per month \n Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams \n Patient ratios: Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3, Mother/Baby 1:3 \n Epic charting system with 24-36 hours of paid orientation \n Two positions available for this assignment \n Requirements: \n \n Active RN license (Texas or Compact state license required at time of submission) \n Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required \n Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted for this unit \n Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN (Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced level) \n Epic charting system experience required \n Previous charge experience preferred; Trauma Level I experience preferred \n Proficiency in comprehensive L&D skills including fetal monitoring, high-risk deliveries, C-section circulation/recovery, couplet care, and postpartum hemorrhage management \n Must complete core onboarding items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing \n Why Join Us? \n This travel nursing opportunity offers competitive compensation with flexible scheduling options of 36 or 48 hours per week.
