Quick Facts Location: 3300 Renner Drive, Fortuna, CA 95540 Start Date: 07/20/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing/As scheduled Shift: Night shifts (6a-2p, 8a-4p, 1p-11p) – specific dates TBD Hours/Week: Guaranteed 8 hours/day; overtime after 12 hours (pre-approval required) Employment Type: Locum/Temporary License/Certifications: Active California medical license, BC or BE within 5 years, ABEM/ABEOM certification (ABIM/ABFM not accepted) Experience: Minimum 2 years of hospital clinical activity in Emergency Medicine Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour Incentives: $25/hour bonus for confirmed night shifts Pay Schedule: Weekly via direct deposit Benefits: Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements (where applicable) 24/7 dedicated support team to ensure a smooth experience What You’ll Do Provide emergency care for approximately 110 patients per 24 hours Manage a diverse patient population across various shift times Collaborate with hospital staff to deliver timely, high-quality care Document clinical encounters efficiently and accurately Ensure compliance with hospital policies and medical standards Maintain certification and licensure requirements during assignment Assist in patient intake, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning What You Need Required: Active California medical license Board-certified or Board eligible in Emergency Medicine (within 5 years) ABEM or ABEOM certification Minimum 2 years hospital emergency medicine experience Current hospital privileges or ability to qualify Preferred: Experience working night shifts Strong clinical documentation skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment About the Assignment Join a reputable hospital in Fortuna, California, offering a dynamic emergency department environment.
