About the Position

Job Title: RN - MICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care ICU RN hospital experience License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of current acute care ICU RN hospital experience. BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications are required. Description: This travel RN position is for a Medical ICU unit. There are 26 beds in the unit with a staff of 65. The typical patient ratio during the night shift is 2:1, although this is an estimate and not guaranteed. The position requires experience with CRRT and familiarity with Meditech EMR. Candidates should be comfortable with moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and airway management. A strong fit for the team is characterized by teamwork, adaptability, and a positive attitude. Preferred experience includes traveling to large trauma facilities and experience with Sono IV and CRRT.
