As a founding teacher, you will help establish the culture, routines, and academic excellence that will define Success Academy in Florida from day one.

As part of our founding Florida team, you will be among the first educators to build Success Academy in Miami-Dade, helping create a school community rooted in excellence, accountability, joy, and deep belief in every child’s potential.

Teaching certification and Master’s degrees are not required for this role. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required for this role.

• Engage and invest families in students’ academic growth, behavior, and overall success through regular, productive communication.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with students and a classroom culture of joy, rigor, and high expectations.

• Deeply study the SA curriculum, assignments, and learning goals.
• Read course texts and complete problems, assignments, and assessments to understand the content and its intellectual demands firsthand.
• Deliver rigorous, engaging instruction that drives mastery of the content.

• Regularly study student work and assessment data to evaluate learning.
• Reflect honestly on results, identify changes needed in your own practice, and work with urgency to improve.
• Provide timely, actionable feedback that strengthens students’ thinking and performance.

• Lead and manage a classroom of 25+ students.
• Establish and consistently enforce routines and expectations that maintain a productive classroom environment and maximize learning.

• A bachelor’s degree before your first day of work with Success Academy; a background in education is not required.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for learning and commitment to student development.
• Ability to work in person in Miami, Florida.
