Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Massillon, OH. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation and reliability of high-voltage electrical distribution systems, managing substations, and overseeing electrical equipment for utilities. This role requires expertise in engineering, commissioning, preventive maintenance planning, load balancing, and collaboration with project teams.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safe operation and reliability of the high-voltage electrical distribution system and utilities.
• Manage the substation and handle emergency incidents according to established protocols.
• Engineer, commission, and supervise electrical systems installation and startup.
• Develop, update, and improve preventive maintenance plans and procedures for substations and electrical equipment.
• Analyze and balance electric consumption loads.
• Manage electricity metering systems for accurate usage monitoring.
• Participate in utility expansion projects and collaborate with project teams and engineers.
• Coordinate with plant engineering and maintenance teams for electrical shutdown management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
• 3 or more years of experience in 110KV or above HV substation operation and management.
• Proficiency in electrical engineering, construction, and commissioning.
• Familiarity with electrical-related standards, rules, and regulations.
