Details Work in the Operating Room (Surgery Unit) of an acute care hospital 3-bed unit serving all patient ages Uses Cerner EMR Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM Every other weekend or as-needed weekend hours Call requirements of approximately 6 shifts per month, including 1 weekend per month Floating as needed, with the understanding that this is a specialized OR role rather than a floor unit Requirements Active RN license (NC or Compact) required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and CPI/HWC/MAB 1-2 years of relevant Operating Room experience required Specialized surgical/OR nursing background required Additional Information Provide direct patient care and support in the Operating Room across a range of surgical procedures Report to the Director of Surgical Services Scrubs are provided; no casual attire permitted Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment American Traveler Job ID P-747659.
