What You’ll Do Shape and lead Edmentum’s proposal function, driving strategic vision and operational excellence across the bid operations team. Be at the forefront of process innovation, collaborating with senior leaders to ensure our proposals reflect Edmentum’s mission and maximize market impact. In this role you will: Lead the bid operations department, ensuring all team functions align with strategic business goals. Oversee the entire bid process, from intake and qualification to submission and post‑mortem analysis. Establish and maintain best practices, workflows, and training to drive quality, efficiency, and compliance. Collaborate with executive leadership to prioritize bid requests and drive cross‑functional process improvements. Evaluate resource needs, manage staffing, and provide ongoing coaching and professional development for your team. Ensure information and content management systems are maintained and accessible for all stakeholders. Champion a culture of innovation, inclusion, and operational excellence. Who You Are Expert in proposal management and bid operations, passionate about process improvement. Proven track record of leading cross‑functional teams and collaborating with executive leadership. Skilled in developing, implementing, and optimizing processes for efficiency and compliance. Strong experience in proposal writing, technical communication, and business writing. Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing. Bachelor’s degree (English, Technical Communication, or related preferred). 3+ years of proposals department management experience. Experienced in training, mentoring, and developing staff. Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Word. $120,000—$150,000 USD
