We offer career opportunities where you can contribute and grow.Start your journey with usThe P & C Material Damage Unit seeks an Auto Team Leader to participate in the strategic management of CIC’s auto material damage programs to include collection and analysis of material damage metrics as related to company strategic initiatives and industry key performance indicators. The P & C Material Damage Unit Team Leader responsibilities also include daily supervision of claims associates in the administration of auto material damage programs, best practices, compliance, estimating, estimating software, valuation tools, and damage analysis. Starting salary is $100,000 - $117,000 and depends on experience and qualifications. Be ready to: Provide supervision to claims associates related to:Auto repair programsAuto physical damage analysisCompliance with auto material damage best practicesAuto repair estimating and total loss valuation softwareAuto damage appraisal quality assurance auditsVendor ManagementManage and maintain Cincinnati claim service programsProvide metrics and data analysis to HQ Claims and Field ClaimsIdentify new P & C material damage risks to the Claims Department’s strategic objectives and bring these risks to the attention of the P & C Material Damage Resource Unit Manager with recommended mitigation solutionsParticipate in the identification and development of auto training content and provide material damage training updates to auto instructors as necessaryQualificationsBe equipped with:EducationUndergraduate degree preferred but not requiredInsurance Institute of America Educational Designations are a plusI-CAR training and/or certification is a plusExperienceMinimum five years insurance industry experienceExperience in auto repair program leadership with a top tier carrierExpertise in use of auto estimating softwareFluent in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPointSkillsAbility to compile and report metrics necessary for the management of customer satisfaction, customer experience, loss cost, loss control, and loss adjustment expenseCapable of data analysis and preparation of reports necessary to benchmark resultsAdvanced Excel skillsEffective oral and written communication skillsIT background is a plusQualitiesAbility and willingness to adapt to changeAbility to help lead and foster change within a department and organizationAbility to work independently and collaborativelyAbility to learn new skills and complete educational courses as neededEnhance your talentsProviding outstanding service and developing strong relationships with our independent agents are hallmarks of our company.
