Line Technician

GeoSport Lighting, a TenCate Company Location: St. Gabriel, Louisiana Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Compensation: $17 per hour Position Summary GeoSport Lighting is seeking a dependable Line Technician to work in our production warehouse in St. Gabriel, Louisiana. This hands-on position is responsible for assembling components used in our lighting systems. The Line Technician will also load and unload delivery trucks, operate a forklift, pack orders, and perform other warehouse duties as needed. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position. The selected candidate will initially be employed through a staffing agency for approximately three months, with the opportunity for permanent employment based on performance and business needs. Regular working hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime as needed. Qualifications and Experience Must be at least 18 years old. Must speak English fluently; bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus. Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required. Experience using basic hand tools, such as drills, screwdrivers, and measuring tapes, is preferred but not required. Forklift experience is a plus. Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work overtime when needed. Must have reliable transportation. A valid driver’s license is a plus but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand and perform warehouse and assembly duties for extended periods. Ability to load, unload, pack, and move materials safely. Pre-Employment Requirements Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.
