Key Responsibilities of the Operating Room Registered Nurse

• Observe, assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for patients
• Perform joint replacement, ENT, ortho, spine, urology vascular, podiatry, thoracic surgery, and plastic surgery procedures
• Proficient in charting and maintaining patient records
• Function independently in a fast-paced environment

Requirements of the Operating Room Registered Nurse

• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of current experience in an acute OR setting
• Experience with knee and hip replacement procedures
