DutiesDuties for the Statistician position include, but are not limited to, the following:Conducting special studies to develop and evaluate quantitative measures of occupational or industrial hazardousness and agency performance.Providing support to users of occupational injury, illness, and fatality data to help them understand the data and its limitations.Applying statistical methodologies to conduct data analyses and to evaluate programs.Assessing the ability of existing data systems to meet OSHA's needs and make recommendations as needed.Participating in the development and maintenance of OSHA-wide performance measurement systems that evaluate OSHA's effectiveness in achieving its mission.
