Nutritionist — Wellness & Weight Management Clinic

Part-Time / PRN | 1 Day Per Month, With Opportunity for Additional Hours

About Us

We are a newly expanded and renovated wellness clinic focused on helping patients achieve sustainable weight-management and overall wellness goals. Our practice takes a personalized, patient-centered approach that combines medical weight management, nutrition, lifestyle support, and wellness services.

We are looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable Nutritionist to join our growing team on a flexible part-time/PRN basis. The initial schedule is approximately one day per month , with the potential for additional clinic days and hours as patient volume grows.

Position Overview

The Nutritionist will work directly with weight-management patients to provide individualized nutrition education, practical dietary guidance, and ongoing support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working one-on-one with patients and wants the flexibility of a limited, consistent schedule with the opportunity to grow with a new wellness practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual nutrition consultations with weight-management patients.
• Assess patients’ dietary habits, nutritional needs, goals, and barriers to success.
• Develop practical, individualized nutrition recommendations.
• Provide education regarding balanced nutrition, portion control, meal planning, protein intake, hydration, and healthy lifestyle habits.
• Support patients participating in medical weight-management programs.
• Help patients establish realistic and sustainable nutrition goals.
• Provide follow-up counseling and encouragement as appropriate.
• Collaborate with medical and wellness staff to provide coordinated patient care.
• Document patient encounters and recommendations accurately and professionally.
• Stay current with evidence-based nutrition and weight-management practices.
• Create a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their challenges and goals.

• Able to translate nutrition information into simple, realistic recommendations patients can actually follow.
• Comfortable collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare/wellness team.
• Interested in growing alongside a new and expanding wellness clinic.

Qualifications

• Degree or formal education in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) preferred , but qualified Nutritionists with relevant education and experience are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in weight management, bariatric nutrition, wellness, or medical nutrition counseling is a plus.
• Appropriate state credentials/licensure required for the services being provided.

Schedule

• Initial commitment: approximately 1 day per month
• Additional days may become available based on patient demand.
• Flexible scheduling to be discussed.
• Opportunity for the position to expand as the clinic grows.

Compensation

Competitive pay — based on qualifications and experience.
