After-Hours Security & Maintenance Specialist

Security OfficerJoin a dedicated team focused on ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, staff, and facilities during overnight hours. This role involves monitoring the premises for any hazards or suspicious activities, promptly investigating and reporting concerns to maintain a secure environment. The position also includes maintenance duties using hand and power tools, as well as managing electrical equipment when necessary. Additionally, you will greet and assist patients and visitors in outpatient and emergency services, handling quick registration and managing incoming phone calls efficiently.This part-time role requires availability from 10pm to 6am every Friday and Saturday, totaling 16 hours per week.Education & ExperienceMinimum age of 18 years with a high school diploma or GED.Post-secondary education or formal technical training is highly preferred.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and insurability under the organization's insurance policy.Skills & RequirementsProficiency in Microsoft Outlook is essential.Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.Strong communication skills to interact warmly with patients, visitors, and team members.This opportunity is based in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest, offering a supportive and team-oriented environment where compassionate care and respect for all individuals are core values.
