RN Charge Nurse / LPN Clinic Lead

The RN Charge Nurse or LPN Clinic Lead serves as a key clinical leader responsible for coordinating patient care, supporting daily operations, and fostering a positive team environment. Working closely with providers, nursing staff, and leadership, this role helps ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining efficient workflows, regulatory compliance, and exceptional patient experiences. As a trusted resource and mentor, the RN Charge Nurse / LPN Clinic Lead provides guidance to clinical staff, supports patient flow, assists with care coordination, and promotes a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence.

In addition to clinical leadership responsibilities, this role plays an essential part in day-to-day operations by assisting with staff assignments, scheduling support, workflow management, inventory oversight, and provider communication. The RN Charge Nurse or LPN Clinic Lead helps identify operational needs, resolve issues in real time, and support staff development through coaching, training, and mentorship. The ideal candidate is a compassionate healthcare professional with strong leadership and communication skills who is committed to delivering outstanding patient care while supporting the growth and success of both the team and the organization.

We are looking for someone who can:

Have the ability to assist with day-to-day clinic operations Perform workflow management, patient flow and recovery, staff assignments, scheduling support, and provider communication. Have the ability to collaborate closely with leadership to ensure effective communication and operational support.

Have to ability to ensure necessary supplies are ordered and available, provide front-line operational support, and assist with redirecting staff as needed. Improve workflows, patient experiences, and operational efficiency A strong problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Have strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with providers, redirecting team members, and helping maintain accountability within the clinic environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN)

Preferred

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience in the applicable specialty or patient care setting.

Licensure & Certifications

• Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Louisiana or a Compact RN License.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

LPN Clinic Lead

Licensure

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license through the Louisiana State Board of Practical Nurse Examiners (LSBPNE).

Certifications

• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of related clinical experience in a physician practice, outpatient clinic, ambulatory care, or healthcare setting.
