Food Service Worker

Our client, a dedicated food service provider committed to delivering quality meals and excellent customer service, is seeking a Food Service Worker to join their team. As a Food Service Worker, you will be an essential part of the dining operations supporting the Estes dining hall team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Food Service Worker

Location: Ashland, VA

Pay Range: $16/hr

Shift: 2:00 PM start, 8-hour shift

What's the Job?

• Assist the manager with food and meal preparation to ensure timely service

• Maintain accurate cash receipts and meal records for accountability

• Help complete daily reports to support operational efficiency

• Uphold high standards of food quality, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices

• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate uniforms including safety shoes, dark pants, and dark shirts

What's Needed?

• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions

• Willingness to work quickly and efficiently under pressure

• Food Service Certificate as needed (training can be provided)

• Basic education or training sufficient to perform job duties

• Availability to work the specified shift and report to Estes dining hall
