Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Coeur d'Alene patient service center to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide customer service. Monday-Friday schedule with potential weekend hours; phlebotomy certification or six months of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
• Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen logs
• Prepare specimens for testing and process billing and patient payments
• Provide customer service and perform administrative duties; travel to additional sites when needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification from accredited agency or 6+ months relevant experience
• Pass standardized color blindness test
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work overtime and rotating Saturdays as needed
