About the Role:

Location: Crown Point, IN - 30 mins from Chicago!
Seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist who specializes in Invasive Intervention
Ideal candidate will have a passion for PCI and peripheral vascular procedures, clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction.
Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff.
Flexible, full-time schedule
Weekday, Weekend & Holiday Call: 1: 4
Required to cover 13 weekends per year
Average outpatient volume: 8 -12 patients per day
Average inpatient volume: varies
Potential for surrounding area outreach
State-of-the-art labs: Phillips systems which include the Flex vision screens with the most updated software package including clarity software
availability of nine data out ports providing connection to TEE/CCTA s images on the Flex vision screens
Nurse Practitioner support
Telehealth is offered
Strong mentorship within group
Collegial team
Common Diagnoses: Abnormalities of Heart Rhythm, Atrial Fibrillation, Cardiac Arrhythmias, Chest Pain, Heart Failure
Procedures: Cardiac angioplasty and stent placement, including drug eluting stents
Rotational Atherectomy
Carotid Stenting
Peripheral Vascular Procedures
Onsite Equipment for Testing
EKG
Exercise Stress Equipment
Holter Monitoring

Candidate Background:

Board Eligible / Board Certified Interventional Cardiology
Ability to hold Indiana state license
