Human Resources Coordinator

Pay: $24.00 per hour

$24.00/hour
Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 40 hours/week


We are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to provide administrative support to our Human Resources team for a temporary 10-week assignment. This role will assist with employee records, onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, payroll-related processes, compliance reporting, and general HR operations.


Responsibilities



Maintain employee records and HRIS data
Process new hires, transfers, promotions, wage changes, and terminations
Support onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration
Verify employment and respond to employee inquiries
Maintain personnel files and HR documentation
Assist with payroll, garnishments, ACA reporting, and audits
Prepare reports and perform HR administrative functions



Qualifications



Associate's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
3+ years of Human Resources experience
Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle confidential information
Government or municipal HR experience preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred


Requirements



Valid New Mexico driver's license
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
