Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Labor & Delivery RN experience (L&D or OB RN)
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Certifications required and active at application: ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE
• Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Labor & Delivery within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and Safe Medicate during orientation
• Experience with EPIC Stork (EPIC EHR) preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities (L&D / OB Nurse)

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients
• Monitor and assess maternal and newborn status throughout labor, delivery, and recovery (maternal-newborn care)
• Circulate in the OB Operating Room as needed and assist with cesarean deliveries
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary perinatal teams—physicians, midwives, neonatal staff—to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurate, timely documentation using the facility charting system/EPIC (when applicable)
• Participate in orientation, competency assessments, and required training to maintain clinical competency
