As a Special Education Teacher, you’ll work closely with students, families, and a multidisciplinary team to create a meaningful, individualized educational experience. This role will have you supporting a diverse caseload, developing and implementing effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and providing both academic instruction and behavioral support to help students meet their fullest potential. Your strong communication and collaboration skills will be vital as you coordinate with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure cohesive care.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education required
• Active or eligible Wyoming Special Education teaching certification/license
• Experience working in a special education or classroom setting preferred
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining student records and documentation
• Dedication to inclusive education and student-centered teaching practices
• Capacity to adapt instruction to meet the varied needs of K-12 students

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute IEPs tailored to student needs
• Deliver specialized instruction and support accommodations/modifications
• Track progress on academic and behavioral goals, regularly updating documentation
• Partner with families and school staff to create holistic support strategies
• Maintain compliance with all required documentation and reporting standards
