Seeking a skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) to provide dedicated, one-on-one behavioral support for a student at the elementary level. This contract opportunity is positioned within a supportive school environment near Silverdale, WA, and runs through the end of the 2026-2027 academic year (ASAP – June 16, 2027). You’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact guiding an individual student’s progress, working closely with school teams to promote a safe and effective learning environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid RBT or CBT certification is required (please include a copy of your certification with your application; candidates without certification will not be considered)
• Demonstrated experience working with children or students on the autism spectrum, preferably in a K-12 school setting
• Right Response or de-escalation training strongly preferred (include documentation if available)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interface with staff, families, and other support professionals
• Commitment to consistency, compassion, and professionalism in student interactions

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support for a designated student in accordance with daily scheduled hours:
  • Mon/Tue: 8:55 am – 3:35 pm
  • Wed: 8:55 am – 1:40 pm
  • Thu/Fri: 12:00 pm – 3:30 pm (student attends external ABA in mornings)
• Implement individualized programming, behavior intervention plans, and data collection strategies
• Collaborate with school staff and specialists to monitor goals and adjust supports as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured environment conducive to learning and growth
