This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with technical details, construction documents, and collaborative project teams while building a career in the commercial door and hardware industry. Job Duties Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine door, frame, and hardware requirements Prepare accurate door and hardware schedules (submittals) for customer and architect approval using industry-specific software Assist with entry-level detailing projects under the guidance of experienced Detailers and management Interpret project plans, specifications, and contract requirements to ensure accurate product selection Review and incorporate approved change orders while communicating project impacts as needed Provide technical support to project managers, sales, purchasing, and operations teams Develop proficiency with detailing software and DH Pace processes while supporting the overall project team Maintain accurate documentation and complete projects within established timelines Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in an office, business, or administrative environment Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings or willingness to learn Basic knowledge of commercial doors, frames, and hardware is preferred but not required Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach Ability to earn Door and Hardware Industry Associate (DHIA) certification within six months of hire What We Offer Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage — available your first full month Generous paid time off plus paid holidays and floating holidays Company-paid life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability 401(k) with employer match Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options Voluntary benefits including supplemental life and critical illness coverage Employee discounts for you and your immediate family Competitive compensation with annual performance reviews Successful completion of employment verifications, background check, drug screen, and driving record (if applicable) required in advance of hire.
