Job Overview

Seeking an experienced SAP Joule Consultant to lead the design, implementation, configuration, integration, and optimization of SAP Joule, SAP's generative AI copilot, across enterprise SAP environments. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, technical teams, and enterprise architects to identify high-value AI use cases and deliver secure, scalable, and business-focused Joule solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and adoption of SAP Joule across SAP business processes and enterprise applications.
• Analyze business requirements and identify opportunities to leverage generative AI, conversational AI, and Joule capabilities.
• Configure and customize Joule experiences based on business requirements and SAP best practices.
• Integrate SAP Joule with SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, SAP BTP, and other SAP cloud solutions.
• Design and implement AI-powered business workflows, conversational experiences, and intelligent automation.
• Develop and configure Joule skills, capabilities, prompts, actions, and business scenarios where applicable.
• Leverage SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and related services to extend Joule functionality.
• Work with SAP Integration Suite, APIs, events, and other integration technologies to connect Joule with enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with functional teams across Finance, HR, Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations to identify automation opportunities.
• Design secure AI solutions aligned with enterprise security, privacy, compliance, and governance requirements.
• Support prompt engineering, prompt optimization, AI response validation, and conversational experience design.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, relevance, security, and business usability.
• Develop proof-of-concepts and demonstrate Joule capabilities to business and technical stakeholders.
• Support testing, UAT, deployment, troubleshooting, and production rollout of Joule solutions.
• Establish AI governance practices covering data access, authorization, responsible AI, and model usage.
• Monitor Joule adoption, performance, user feedback, and business outcomes.
• Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and implementation documentation.
• Provide knowledge transfer and training to internal teams on SAP Joule capabilities and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP consulting or SAP technology experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Joule, SAP generative AI, or related SAP AI technologies.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP and cloud-based SAP architectures.
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite, APIs, OData, REST, and enterprise integrations.
• Knowledge of generative AI concepts, LLMs, prompt engineering, conversational AI, and AI-powered automation.
• Experience working with SAP security, roles, authorizations, data privacy, and enterprise governance.
• Strong understanding of SAP business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into AI-enabled solutions.
• Experience with testing and validating AI-generated responses and business workflows.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP certifications in SAP BTP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP AI, SAP Joule, or related technologies.
• Experience with SAP Build, SAP Build Process Automation, SAP Build Apps, or related BTP services.
• Knowledge of SAP Business AI and SAP's broader AI strategy.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, Customer Experience, or other SAP cloud applications.
• Familiarity with RAG, vector databases, embeddings, AI agents, and enterprise LLM architectures.
• Experience implementing AI governance and responsible AI frameworks.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and enterprise transformation programs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
