Intercomp is hiring a full-time Engineering Technician for Design & Continuation Engineering testing.

Responsibilities:

•             Build and test new design prototypes

•             Build test wire and cable harnesses to support testing, including some soldering.

•             Perform testing on products or sub-assemblies and provide test reports (using Excel and Word).

•             Troubleshoot defective units from production and make necessary repairs.

•             Write assembly instructions for new product design releases.

•             Work with in-house computer systems to assist in new product release details such as entry of bills of material.

•             Work with in-house systems to process engineering change notices

Qualifications:

•             Two-year technical degree (AAS) preferred.

•             0-5 years’ experience or more as an engineering technician.

•             Basic knowledge with electronics.

•             Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools.

•             Experience with common lab test equipment such as multimeters preferred.

•             Experience with CAD preferred.

•             Experience with sensors preferred.

•             Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word preferred.

•             Experience with BOM’s/Routings in MS Business Central / ERP system preferred

•             Optional: Experience with PCB schematics and/or debugging PCBs.
