The Cavalier County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for a full-time deputy sheriff position. Applicants must have a high school diploma and be ND P.O.S.T. Board certified or currently working in a law enforcement capacity outside of the state of ND. Applicants must be physically able to handle all law enforcement duties.
Deputy starting salary is $63,855.00 depending on experience. Deputies also have opportunities for overtime. The opportunity for deputies to earn an annual average of $7,000 or more in overtime compensation.
Cavalier County is home to the Pembina Gorge. The outdoor recreation opportunities in our community are endless, featuring the Frost Fire Park ski resort, the Pembina Gorge State Recreation Area, and extensive ATV and hiking trails, alongside excellent hunting and fishing.
