Qualifications

We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher who has:

• Experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age (required) 
• A genuine passion for working with young children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A nurturing, dependable, and positive attitude

What You'll Do

Responsibilities

As a Lead Teacher, you will:

• Create and implement engaging, inquiry and play-based lesson plans aligned with Goddard's educational philosophy.
• Foster a warm, safe, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Support each child's individual developmental needs through meaningful interactions and observation.
• Encourage learning through exploration, play, and age-appropriate activities.
• Promote children's social-emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
• Arrange and maintain an inviting classroom that supports learning and independence.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and daily experiences.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing training.
• Utilize assessment tools to monitor children's growth and development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and supportive school culture.
• Maintain compliance with all licensing regulations and school policies.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• CDA or willing to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willing to obtain
