Federal Project Manager

Federal Project Manager The Federal Project Manager will function in a project leadership capacity on Department of Defense contracts. In this role you will: Manage multiple small to medium sized Services projects Manage multiple Federal clients and/or projects Support aspects of Business Development Obtain new/repeat business on medium size projects; supports contract negotiations with client peers Reduce risk to B&V by managing profit on fixed price engineering projects, managing risk implementing new technology or working with new clients Act as a project manager. Among responsibilities is management of a project team The ideal candidate will have prior experience with facilities and infrastructure projects for DOD, Air Force, and/or other Federal agencies/entities such as USACE, including developing qualifications packages, implementing UFC and FC requirements into DoD projects, understanding and implementing Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs), and experience with full design projects (design-bid-build). We are looking for candidates with: 10+ years' experience working with A/E design teams associated with the U.S. Department of Defense Experience with full project lifecycle from proposal to design to construction Professional Engineer (PE) License or Registered Architect (RA) Experience with AFCEC, NAVFAC and/or USACE Ability to obtain a Security Clearance Experience with Business Development, Business Acumen, Execution and Leadership Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations This position supports Black & Veight project work with the U.S. Federal Government.
