Job Details:

• The need for providers is on a PRN basis, offering ongoing opportunities to contribute to patient care.
• Candidates must be Board Certified in any of the following specialties: Neurology, Neurosurgery, PM&R, ensuring expertise in managing Traumatic Brain Injury and General Medicine cases.
• Examinations primarily involve interviews with patients, supplemented by physical assessments such as range of motion testing and muscle strength testing, focusing on evaluating Traumatic Brain Injury and General Medicine conditions.
• The role does not involve prescribing or treatment, solely focusing on diagnostic assessments.
• DMA certification is available for providers to obtain CME credits, with training provided once privileged if not already certified.
• Utilization of a Goniometer is required for accurate assessments.
• Proficiency in evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions, as well as familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio, is essential.
• Providers must have their personal laptop (NO Apple Laptops/MACs) for documentation purposes.
• Training will be provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs), with reports required to be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion through VES's provider portal.
• Record review is necessary for ensuring accuracy and completeness of evaluations.
• Only one provider is needed for this opportunity.
