HESCO is looking for a Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement operations and help shape the strategy behind our inventory and supply chain success.In this role, you'll take ownership of vendor negotiations, inventory replenishment, and budget forecasting — all while partnering closely with our Customer Service, Warehouse, and Sales teams to keep operations running smoothly and support company growth.What You'll DoDevelop and execute purchasing strategies that drive cost savings and support company growthServe as the primary liaison with vendors, negotiating favorable pricing and terms while ensuring compliance with distributor programs and pricing tiersTrack supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead-time) and lead continuous improvement effortsMaximize annual rebate and channel incentive programsIdentify supply chain risks and build contingency plansInventory Oversight & ReplenishmentManage inventory levels and stocking strategy at our warehouse, balancing service goals with cost efficiencyOptimize automated replenishment and purchase order processes within our Infor SXe ERP systemBuild inventory health reports to flag at-risk or slow-moving SKUs and prevent dead stockMonitor open orders and resolve delays proactivelyCollaborate cross-functionally to anticipate project needs and adjust purchasing plansBudget & ForecastingTrack and report on inventory values and spend against departmental and company goalsBuild demand and purchasing forecasts to guide planning decisionsDevelop ROI models to support strategic initiativesLeadership & SystemsLead, mentor, and develop the Purchasing teamLeverage the Infor SXe ERP system and vendor portals to their full potentialStay current on ERP upgrades and best practices via TUG (The User Group); occasional travel may be requiredChampion HESCO's core values — Passion, Respect, Initiative, Dependability, and Ethics — in everything you doRequirementsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field5+ years of purchasing experience in a distribution environmentHands-on expertise with Infor SXe (or a similar ERP system)Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and leadership skillsComfort working in a fast-paced environmentExperience with inventory management, budget planning, and demand forecastingDistribution/manufacturing experience and familiarity with electrical products are a plusHESCO is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
