Responsibilities Include: * Assist veterinarians with routine appointments, surgeries, and patient care. * Collect and process diagnostic samples, administer medications, and prepare for surgeries. * Record detailed patient histories and manage pharmaceutical inventories. * Take and interpret radiographs, including dental X-rays, and perform ultrasonic dental cleanings. * Monitor general anesthesia, dress wounds, and assist with procedures like catheterization and ear flushes. * Maintain and sterilize surgical instruments, equipment, and treatment areas. * Educate clients on preventive care, dental hygiene, nutrition, and more. * Collaborate with the team to create a positive work environment and assist with onboarding new employees. * Champion the companybrand by promoting services like grooming, daycare, and retail offerings. What We're Looking For: * Licensure Required: Veterinary Technician licensure in this state * Experience: 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred. * Client-Centric Focus: Strong communication skills and a passion for building lasting relationships. * Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 20+ lbs. and work in a fast-paced, sometimes emotionally demanding environment. * Technological Savvy: Interest in using technology to improve veterinary care and client experience. * Certifications (Preferred): Fear Free and HABRI certification or a willingness to achieve them. * Collaborative Spirit: Highly adaptable and enthusiastic about team-based patient care.
