Clinical Pharmacology Lead (Manager)

Pfizer seeks a Clinical Pharmacology Lead (Manager) to direct clinical pharmacology strategy and model-informed drug development efforts for Internal Medicine portfolio projects. The role involves designing pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic analyses, overseeing clinical development plans, and providing regulatory expertise across multifunctional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as clinical pharmacology representative on clinical and development teams
  • Design and execute clinical pharmacology plans incorporating best practices and MIDD approaches
  • Plan and oversee project-level activities including PK/PD analyses and dose-finding strategies
  • Author protocols, oversee clinical phases, and contribute to regulatory submissions
  • Stay current with scientific literature, regulatory guidelines, and publish findings

Requirements

  • M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent training in pharmacokinetics, pharmacometrics, or clinical pharmacology
  • PharmD with 2+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience alternatively
  • Expertise in mechanistic PK/PD modeling, population modeling, and clinical trial simulations
  • Proficiency with quantitative tools such as NONMEM and R
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with ability to influence cross-functional peers
  • Capacity to work across global time zones in hybrid arrangement

Compensation: $106,000-$176,600 base salary, plus 15% bonus target and long-term incentive eligibility
