Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit (Night Shift)ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit (Night Shift) in Round Rock, Texas.LocationRound Rock, TXAssignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.Schedule/ShiftScheduled shifts are from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Alternate weekends are required, with no call requirements.Job DescriptionThe Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide exceptional care to critically ill patients. The unit has a total of 22 beds and employs a dedicated staff of 60 individuals. The patient nurse ratios typically range from 1:2, with opportunities for 1:1 care based on patient needs. The unit utilizes advanced equipment, including IABP, Impella, Arterial Lines, and more. The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care in a critical care environmentPerform rapid sequence intubation and administer medications, including vasopressors and IV sedationUtilize advanced monitoring equipment and assist with procedures such as EVD insertions and ThrombectomiesCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomesRequired ExperienceCritical care experience is requiredExperience with post-operative cardiac surgery is preferredCertifications/LicensureActive Registered Nurse (RN) licenseBLS (Basic Life Support) certificationACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certificationNIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certificationPreferred: Trauma credentials (TNCC, CATN, TCAR)About ARMStaffingFounded in 2011 and a member of the ARGroup, LLC, ARMStaffing connects dedicated nurses and allied health professionals with the facilities that need them most.
