Experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist Needed

We're hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Aurora, CO where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. Candidates will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide ventilator management, airway management, and other respiratory care interventions across a high-acuity adult and pediatric patient population.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state respiratory therapist license in good standing.
• Minimum 6 months current acute care RRT hospital experience (per client requirement).
• BLS and ACLS required. NRP and PALS required or NBRC as noted by client.
• Experience with ventilator management and airway management.
• Experience with Hamilton ventilators (G5/C1/T1), V60, Vyair Avea preferred.
• Meditech EMR experience preferred.
• Pediatric/NICU/PICU experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Meditech experience.
• PEDS/NICU/PICU clinical experience.
• Team-oriented and energetic demeanor; strong focus on patient experience.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900–0700.
• Night shift staffing: typically 1 charge and 5 staff on nights.
• Unit equipment includes Hamilton G5/C1/T1, V60, Vyair Avea.
