Sr. Performance Tester

Contract Duration: 12 Months Pay Rate: 65-75/hr Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education. 7 years of Java application testing 7 years of Jmeter or Blazemeter (we are using Blazemeter as the base tool in the company) 5 years of Selenium 7+ years of experience in Performance Testing of Java-based applications and distributed systems. Strong hands-on experience with JMeter and/or BlazeMeter (7+ years) for load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing. 5+ years of experience with Selenium for test automation and regression testing. Proven experience in test case design, test script development, test execution, and results analysis. Strong understanding of application performance metrics, bottleneck identification, and performance tuning. Experience analyzing JVM, application server, database, and infrastructure performance. Ability to create performance test strategies, test plans, and performance reports. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with development, QA, and infrastructure teams. Desired Skills & Experience ADA Compliance application testing (front of the line) Playwright (front of the line) AI agent assisted development testing (Copilot/Devin) 1+ year of experience using GitHub Copilot, Devin, or other AI-assisted development/testing tools (AI Agents). Experience testing and validating applications for ADA (Accessibility) compliance. 1+ year of experience with Playwright for modern web application automation. 1+ year of experience writing and optimizing SQL Server queries for test data preparation, validation, and performance analysis. Knowledge of application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, or similar platforms. What You Will Be Doing Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
