Residential Development
We are seeking a Market Intelligence Manager to support strategic decision-making across land acquisition, product strategy, and market expansion. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who enjoys transforming market intelligence into actionable insights that influence real business outcomes.
As part of the corporate team, you’ll analyze housing market trends, buyer behavior, and competitive dynamics to guide leadership on where and how the business grows.
What You’ll Do
Market & Competitive Analysis
- Analyze local and regional housing markets to identify growth opportunities and underserved segments
- Track competitor pricing, incentives, product offerings, and absorption trends
- Develop dashboards and executive-ready reports to support pricing, investment, and growth decisions
Financial & Feasibility Support
- Assist with land and community feasibility analysis, including demographic, pricing, and demand research
- Support underwriting assumptions related to product mix, buyer profiles, and sales velocity
- Conduct field research to validate data with real-world market conditions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Land Acquisition, Sales, Marketing, and Architecture teams to align data with strategic objectives
- Support product positioning through analysis of buyer preferences, option uptake, and value drivers
- Maintain and enhance internal databases and analytical tools used across the organization
Communication
- Translate complex datasets into clear, concise insights for senior leadership
- Support internal reviews and committee meetings with data-backed recommendations
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required
- MBA or MRED preferred
- Experience:
- 3+ years in corporate analysis, real estate analytics, homebuilding, or consumer research
- Familiarity with the residential homebuilding lifecycle is a plus
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with Zonda preferred
- Exposure to GIS tools
- Strong Excel skills; Power BI or similar reporting tools a plus
- Analytical Ability:
- Strong quantitative skills and a disciplined, fact-based approach to decision-making
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
