Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesDignity Health at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center (SJHMC) in alignment with the Dignity Health Cancer Institute (DHCI), Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG), and Creighton School of Medicine is seeking a talented and dedicated Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Surgical Oncologist to join our dynamic and growing oncology department. We envision a key role for an individual with a specific and profound interest in the advanced surgical management of breast cancer, melanoma, and sarcoma. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive, cutting-edge surgical care for patients facing these complex malignancies. This role offers the exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment where you will partner with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, plastic surgeons, genetic counselors, and other specialists to develop individualized treatment plans and ensure the best possible patient outcomes.We are looking for a surgeon who is not only adept at performing intricate oncologic resections but also committed to a holistic approach to patient care, encompassing pre-operative planning, post-operative management, and long-term surveillance.
